Heath Charnock Parish Council
The council normally holds ten meetings a year, on the second or third Thursday of each month, except for July and December, but please check on the meeting dates page.
Members of the public are welcome to attend council meetings. Heath Charnock Parish Council follows the procedures adopted by Chorley Council for public participation in meetings.
Members of the public may ask questions during a separate session prior to the ordinary business of the Parish Council. This session will last for a maximum of 30 minutes. Questions must be submitted by 12 noon, two days prior to each meeting, to allow sufficient time for members to investigate and prepare responses. Questions should be forwarded to the Clerk to the Council
Members of the public may ask a question on an agenda item during the Parish Council meeting, and will be allowed three minutes to do so. Upon receiving an answer, a member of the public may then ask one supplementary question. The member of the public may then stay for the remainder of the meeting, but will not be able to speak again.
